Skjåk Tourist Home and Skeid Restaurant (Skjåk Turistheim / Skeid Kro) are situated off Route 15, midway between Lom, Stryn and Geiranger.

We have 13 hotel rooms, 11 camping cabins, a restaurant seating 150 persons, guest lounges and conference rooms suitable for 10 -170 guests.

Skjåk is famous for its dry and stable climate. Centrally located, Skjåk Turistheim is an ideal starting point for excursions and activities. Within easy reach are Geiranger, Trollstigen, the National Park Centre and Summer-Ski-Centre in Stryn, Briksdalsbreen (the Briksdal glacier) and Sognefjorden.

Other attractions are the stave church, mountain museum and stone centre in Lom, Galdhøpiggen (the highest mountain in Norway), Galdhøpiggen Summer Ski-centre, Skjåk Rafting and Skjåk Sports Centre as well as endless possibilities for walking trips

Cabins
There are cabins to suit every pocket at Skjåk Turistheim. We have 4 cabins with shower and toilet and 2 cabins supplied with water. All these cabins have cable-TV and a fully equipped kitchen. Duvets and pillows are also provided.
For those who like it simple we have 5 single-room cabins with a fridge and hotplate.

Accommodation
We wish you welcome to stay overnight at SkjåkTuristheim. We offer hotel category rooms, newapartments, bungalows with shower/toilet and plain standard cabins. On our breakfast table you find a rich choice of homemade delicacies and bread, produced at Skjåk Turistheim and Skeid Kro.

Rooms
Although we are situated in the center of Bismo, we are in quiet surroundings, with bank, post, shops and gas station close by.

Food
To preserve and develop the unique food tradititions in Skjåk, we lay stress on the original, genuine and popular. We buy cattle beef and produce ourselves. This allows to specialize and to secure the first class quality we want for our food. We make bread and cakes in our own bakery. So we are able to deliver the best to our guests; fresh quality, distinguished food.
