Galdhøpiggen is the highest mountain in Norway, 2.469 m.a.s.l.
It is also one of the most visited peaks in the country, apart from some hills in more densely populated areas. The hight is fascinating, and Galdhøpiggen is also relatively easy to reach. You can follow the marked route from Spiterstulen 1.103 m.a.s.l., four hours to the top, two and a half- three hours back down. An alternative route is with guide across the glacier Galdhøpiggen, starting from Juvasshytta
1.840 m.a.s.l. Daily tours from the lodge in summer, starting at 10.00 and 11.30.
